Leaves are changing, temperatures are dropping, and days are growing shorter, which can only mean one thing: fall is here. In the midst of the fall season, Halloween became a hot topic at STHS, with students facing many tricky questions. Did they spend the night watching their favorite movies, going out trick-or-treating, or partying with their friends?
The Chronicle gathered students’ opinions and feelings on this spooky holiday.
Freshman, Maddy Wilson:

What is your favorite Halloween tradition?
“I love going down to the campground I have at the beach, and they do a Halloween dinner there, so I like doing that with my whole family.”
If you had no budget, what would your dream Halloween costume be?
“Um, I’m not sure. I’d say probably something from like, Alice in Wonderland, maybe the Queen of Hearts, because I feel like that’s like a really good costume.”
How old do you think is too old to go trick-or-treating, and why?
“Never. ‘Cause I love trick or treating. I’ll never stop trick-or-treating. I’m going to bring my kids trick-or-treating, and then I’m going to get candy too.”
Freshmen, Chayse Harrison and DJ Giles:

What is your favorite Halloween memory?
Chayse: “Probably like in 2016, when I was just like being crazy.”

If you had no budget, what would you be for Halloween?
Chayse: “Um. I’d be Spider-Man.”
Dj: “Uh.. I don’t know.”
