The Ski and Snowboard club had another fun season!
Advised by Mr. Picknally, the club went on six short trips to Blue Mountain Ski Resort. Blue Mountain is about an hour and a half drive filled with “fun talks and laughter with new people,” describes junior Jonathan Soto.
Junior Cody Natali was “most impressed with the cooperation.” He adds, “We were all committed and abided by school and mountain rules” to make sure everyone had a good and safe time.
Due to snowfall throughout the season, “the mountain was in decent condition.” Soto claims. Nonetheless, “it was epic,” and “[he] made some great memories with [his] friends.” Some favorite parts of these trips were “bumping into other people from our school,” adds Cody. Also, “going on runs with Mr. Picknally was so cool.”
Although spring season is upon us with warmer weather, the memories made during the trips “will last for a long time,” reflects sophomore Brendan Parsons.
