Who doesn’t like to start the day with a nice cup of coffee? Not only is coffee a popular way to boost energy for long mornings, but it’s also popular among people who enjoy the taste and aroma of roasted coffee beans. As the school year progresses, demands for caffeine increase among students trying to get through a long day of school. The Chronicle interviewed multiple students to get their opinions on where their favorite coffee/cafe spot is and found the top three “Springfield’s Bests.” According to the surveys of Springfield students, the top coffee spots are Starbucks, Dunkin, and Locals. From high-chain cafes to “local” coffee spots, the satisfaction of grabbing a refreshing beverage and a quick bite is always a warm feeling for Spartans. Read on for their favorite recommendations.

Starbucks is one of the top cafe spots among Springfield students. Located on the busy street of Bethlehem Pike, sophomore, David Pepe comments that it is his favorite because it is a “local spot that has a good environment.” Starbucks has won the hearts of many students; some, like freshman, Liz Hanuschak, said they are “addicted” to this go-to spot for energy.
